Firstly the blog title. Well let's face it, there are far too many M's in our house. And just the one N. Not that we planned it that way. It just kind of happened. Really.

Other than that, first and foremost I'm a wife and mum of two. But I also happen to work full-time as a Financial Controller as well. Call me crazy I know! This life I'm leading is an every day challenge, a juggling act that I frequently fail at but keep on trying anyway!
More than anything, I'm so grateful I belong to the One who has made this whole exciting adventure we call life possible. His grace and mercy is never ending, and I know I am in never ending need of Him.

I'm a planner and an organiser (control freak), and I used to have a fantastic memory. But that was before I had kids. Now I just make lists. And try not to misplace them which I often do when they're hidden under a pile of toys or bills.

I look back on my earliest blogs, and cringe at how basic it was. Way back then. Now I like to think of myself  as a part-time blogger, but in reality I'm probably pretty close to being a blog addict! I am continually inspired by the creativity and amazing people I have found in my journeys through cyberspace.

I love photography and last year got my first ever DSLR, and I'm learning all the time about what makes a good photo. So it's not that often you'll find me in front of the camera as I far prefer to be tinkering behind it!

I like to think I take better photos than I used to, but I'll let you guys be the judge of that! One of my favourite things is to take an OK shot and use photo editing magic to make it really shine! I also love creating art on canvas. But none of that comes close to my favourite thing in life - just being with my 3 boys, well 4 if you include the cat!

So enough about me, let me introduce you to the rest of the whanau (family):

Hubby Mark is originally from cider drinking Somerset in England. But he was crazy enough in love (at least that was his excuse!) to give this wonderful country we call Godzone a go. Fast forward through thirteen years together, and here we are, still making a great team!

Mark's passions are football, mountain biking, and being resident Chef Extraordinaire. He's also a pretty good bargain hunter, making great trades of Swatch watches and other digital gizmos on Trade Me and ebay. Mark also lost 30kg on Weight Watchers seven years ago, and won Male Weight Watcher of the year for his efforts.  I will always be hell-of-a-proud of him for that achievement!

Noah is our gentle, kind eldest child who started school last year. He is already writing great stories, and we have seen him growing in confidence by the day.  His passions are Star Wars - we had the mother of all Star Wars themed parties for his 5th birthday here, and he keeps us on our toes when we're out and about trying to win the race to spot Punch Buggies (VW Beetles). He's also a big 'foodie' and loves to help bake - mostly so he can lick the bowl I think! He also loves swimming (especially going on hydroslides) and has an awesome sense of humour!

Mylo is our mischievous Number Two. And he has totally blown the preconceptions of how our family of four would turn out right out of the water. He has given our family just the spark and challenge we need to keep us on our toes, and it means we are definitely learning to go with the flow more!

He is a cheeky boy who knows his own mind, it can be hard to put him off an idea once he's onto it. We've been so impressed at how co-ordinated he is throwing, kicking balls, way more than his mummy is with a thirty-year head-start! He loves nothing better than to jump on the trampoline or pretend he's driving in our car with his big brother, and it has given my heart much joy to see the two of them playing together more these past few months.

We loved this past Christmas when we renamed him 'The Little Spirit of Christmas' - he didn't take his little Santa hat off for most of December, and broke into random carol singing whenever the mood took him.

Murphy is our fluffy, docile, furry friend who was our first baby. A total snuggle puss and far more tolerant than he probably should be with kids in the house. He expands to three times the size with this winter coat on, and it's the bane of our life forever vacuuming clumps of hair, but we love him really.

Like any family, we have our moments, but we try to keep it real. There are naughty corners (which sometimes even us adults need some time in if we're honest!) and there are tears. But even the worst moments, the hardest tears, the angriest words, are always followed by cuddles and laughter again.

And there is much, much love (including God's) in this house, and He is definitely the glue that keeps us all together.
